Theres been a lot of excitement built around the new iPhone; the one that “changes everything again”. Majority of this excitement for the iPhone 4 revolves around the new Retina Display, the front and back facing camera and the design of the phone. However, it looks like these things may be pushed aside with the new issues that have arisen before the iPhone 4′s official date launch.

By now, you should know that Apple has sent out a fair share of iPhone 4s to users who prematurely ordered before the official date which is today (24). Some of these iPhone users, while enjoying the virbrant new things iOS 4 has to offer, are now faced problems that will more than likley plauge some iPhone 4s that will be sold in less than a few hours.

Early iPhone 4 users reported a screen issue. Users reported seeing yellow spots showing up on that crisp high res Retina Screen. There also seems to be a problem with the iPhone antenna. The iPhone 4′s metal ring that wraps around the phone also acts as the antenna . So, depending on how you hold your phone your hand might actually make it harder to receive signal.

To try this out simply lay your handset on a table for a few minutes and look at how many bars you have. Then, take the device and place it in your hand as you normally would. You may notice the loss of bars. I recall Steve saying that this design choice was to improve signal.

So whats the big problem?

There might actually be one. Apple is well known for their customer support. This obviously cant be fixed with just software because it is a hardware issue. Apple may replace all damaged goods or they may not. Lets just see what apple does over the next few days before we run around and make assumptions.
