A Letter from the Executive Editor

One day I sat in front of my desk as an office assistant in a big shot non profit organization realizing that the standard means of an hourly life style wasn’t for me. Shortly there after I quit and sought ways to turn my actual interest into some form of a payment. It was rough at first, but a year later I am still here and I’m loving every moment of it. My advice to you is to do what makes you happy regardless of the rewards, and the rewards will follow.

About Get Your Gadgets Going!

Get Your Gadgets Going! was formed in May 2010 with one goal in mind: the opportunity to present it’s readers with more than just news in the form of analytic evaluation of technology related topics when they arise. We pride ourselves on making it our job to reach out to our readers.

Originally from the streets of New York City (where dreams are made of!), Tristan Thomas now resides in the Peach State of Georgia attending school in his attempt to get his Master’s in Computer Science. With this, Tristan hopes to build up his very own game studio that will focus on a specific, non-existent type of massively multiplayer online role playing game . Tristan’s affixation for technology first started by the need to always have the latest gizmos and gadgets and later influenced his general love for all things tech, and hopes to be able to become a guide for those who lack experience with technology. Some of Tristan’s other interest involve playing football, games ranging from League of Legends to Call of Duty, building new friendships and maintaining the old, hanging out with friends, and believe it or not visiting outer space every now and again. If you would like to reach out to Tristan (it would make him happy) you can do so by emailing him at TristanThomas@getyourgadgetsgoing.com or on Twitter @ tris36

James Dawson was born in Miami and raised along just about every state on the east coast. He is currently pursuing a Computer Science degree at Georgia Southern University and desires to follow the path of an animator. The training of his game oriented hand-eye coordination began during the days of the Sega Genesis. After watching his brother dwell further into the technology and gaming world (and also watching countless hours of Techtv which is today’s G4tv) in 2005, he learned more about computers and games alike. Today, James spends his time drawing, reading comics, finding cheap tech deals, and staying up-to-date with the gaming world he loves. If you would like to contact James, you can do so by emailing him JDawson@getyourgadgetsgoing.com
